Asus ZenFone 5Z Review – Release Date, Price, Specifications and more

Asus has revealed its new ZenFone 5 series. A few days back, only Asus ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5 Lite were shown off, but surprisingly Asus released a 3rd smartphone named as Asus ZenFone 5Z in the works as well. The Asus ZenFone 5Z sits at the very top of the product line offering premium specifications (mostly) worthy of a true flagship smartphone.

The Asus ZenFone 5Z boasts numerous gorgeous features which include latest Snapdragon chipset, high-quality dial cameras, beautiful and massive 6.2-inches display (perfectly fits into a form factor you’d expect from an old-style 5.5-inches smartphone). It also comes with Android 8.0 Oreo OS, massive battery, hefty RAM and a huge onboard memory to install an extensive range of data with ease. Talking about its front design, it seems to basically rock the same look as its 2 other brothers.

Everything mentioned above sound wonderful, is it? But with top-tier competitors such as Samsung, Sony, Huawei and countless others, does ZenFone 5Z sport what it takes to stand out from the competition?

To find out the answer to that question, we’ve tried to cover everything in our Asus ZenFone 5Z review including its release date, price, and specifications. So, let’s dig down into it.

Asus ZenFone 5Z Release Date & Price

Asus has confirmed Asus ZenFone 5Z release date will be July 4 in Asia as well as China, UK, US and other major parts of the world, but it’s just our good guess. A predecessor ZenFone 5 started landing on shelves in Asia in mid-April, but ZenFone 5Z didn’t follow the same schedule.

However, July 4 (release date in India) is confirmed and the event will begin at 12:30 PM. Following Asus and Flipkart partnership, it will exclusively be available on Indian e-commerce sites. It’s a flagship smartphone which goes against high-end OnePlus 6 and Honor 10.

Taking a look at the saucy part which is of course pricing, Asus has well-managed to offer Asus ZenFone 5Z at less than half the price of Apple’s top flagship iPhone X. To be honest, Asus didn’t unveil a price tag but expected around $499.

The Asus ZenFone 5Z Price in the US, UK and other countries in unknown, though, but a bunch of sources is showing that it will set you back around $520 or a little more. For now, things are pretty blurred, but everything will be updated as soon as we hear more.
