Huiawei P30 Pro

The biggest Chinese smartphone brand “Huawei” has always strived to provide innovative and fully-baked smartphones to the audience worldwide, without a doubt. The last year’s 2 biggest flagship smartphones named Huawei Mate 20 Pro and P20 Pro. The Huawei’s Mate and P series are supposedly aimed at the different audience. But the fact is that Huawei releases a new flagship after every six months.

It’s not been a couple of months since we got our hands on Huawei Mate 20 Pro which is still talk of the town all over the world especially in China, India and nearest regions. At IFA 2018, Huawei’s CEO confirmed that Huawei P30 Pro exists and said that Mate 20 will be better as compared to P20 Pro and P30 2019 (in 2019) will be better again.

A bunch of renders released by @OnLeaks point to the return of the headphone jack, rear triple camera, an on-screen fingerprint scanner, and a newly designed waterdrop-style screen notch. Huawei P30 Pro Release Date

Going by the recent few years, Huawei normally announces a new flagship from its “P” Series in February or March. Chances are Huawei may not announce Huawei P30 Pro Release Date at MWC in Barcelona since last year, Huawei held its own event for its devices at the end of March in Paris.

It’s most likely that Huawei P30 Pro Release Date in Australia and all other countries will be similar in 2019 – launching Mate 30 Pro in October.

The Huawei P30 Pro Release Date in India is also not known. Most probably it’ll be announced in India and China on the same day whereas other countries will get their hands on one after a couple of weeks.

Huawei P30 Pro Price

Again, according to the recent trend is for price hikes, we wouldn’t be surprised if Huawei P30 Pro Price goes for a whopping $1147-1299.

How much Indian audience will pay? Taking help from Google’s Quick Currency Conversion, Huawei P30 Pro Price in India is most likely be around INR 80,000-91,000. This is just an educated guess as we will have to wait until the launch to find out more and accurate details.

Huawei P30 Pro Camera

The most-appealing and standard feature of Huawei “P” Series smartphones have always been a camera (rear) and last year’s P20 Pro set the bar for others to beat in 2018. Interestingly, Huawei P30 Pro Camera is most likely to go beyond with 3 or 4 lenses.

According to Huawei Europe boos Mr. Walter Ji, said in an interview, in 2019, the audience will see more innovation in a rear camera. For now, we have three rear cameras and imagine four next year.

He also commented that next year’s flagship will have a greater zoom capability – potentially up to 10x. However, that 4rth lens may not be used for capturing images. Rather, it’ll be a Time-of-Flight sensor – normally used for AR/VR mapping.

We are taking these details about the camera as a pinch of salt at the moment and waiting to see what the other serial leaks find out in the upcoming days.

Based on sources told FeatureLand, Huawei has now been linked to Sony for P30 and if it’s to be believed, Huawei may use forthcoming IMX607 sensor which may add a 38MP sensor to the handset. The recently released Nova 4 and Honor View 20 have a 48MP rear sensor.

Huawei P30 Pro Design

Do you already know how does P30 Pro look like? A series of cases for this upcoming beast has been spotted for sale through an online retailer named “MobileFun” who has given us a hint about Huawei P30 Pro Design.

The major changes are made by Huawei out front and outback, once again, it has a series of camera sensors – running down the left side. But this time, there is a total of 4 rear cameras instead of three.

We didn’t get any sign of a fingerprint scanner out front or back of the handset which means get ready for an on-screen fingerprint scanner (Mate 20 Pro already comprises). The display comes with a waterdrop-like notch at the top – very much like Mate 20 to sport the front-facing camera. That’s a piece of amazing news as Pro versions of Huawei handsets often have more complex face recognition systems which require a wide notch. That sounds realistic as the speculation on the part of case maker Olixar which may only have dimensions for the body instead of final renders of the full design.

The case maker “Olixar” isn’t only one that has spotted. A case already for non-Pro P30 was leaked with a little different design – indicating an extended camera cutout on the left-hand side and a further section underneath.

We are yet to be clear why it’s separate. The case of P30 looks to be combined the second cutout into one single biggest cutout. This case from Olixar matches closely to the Twitter leak from Ice Universe.

What Else?

Unfortunately, no specific details have leaked about Huawei’s upcoming P30 Pro and its younger brother P30. However, it wouldn’t be wrong to assume that it’ll be loaded with HiSilicon Kirin 980 Chipset as Huawei is unlikely to replace it until later in 2019. We are hoping to see it with 5G capabilities and that’s what numerous rumors have already claimed. But, it’ll arrive on a modified version of the handset at a later date with 4G LTE variants being released first.
