Samsung Galaxy S10 Price

Aren’t you excited about an upcoming CES 2019? Perhaps a bit of info would get you turned on. CES 2019 is a couple of days away, we have begun to get quite a few tips as to what Korean smartphone brand “Samsung” would reveal at that event.

Normally, Samsung chooses MWC (Mobile World Congress) trade show to introduce the latest and greatest members of its Galaxy S-Series. Now, according to the most recent report, Samsung has all set to reveal Samsung Galaxy S10 ahead of that normal timeframe – and in a new location.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Release Date and Price

The official Samsung Galaxy S10 launch date is most likely to be somewhere in February 2019. Most probably, we will see it at MWC 2019 – a trade show that will start from February 25-28.

Back in 2018, Samsung revealed Galaxy S9 range at MWC 2018 – therefore, Samsung Galaxy S10 release date is expected in February at MWC 2019. More specifically, a day before is, as Samsung normally holds press events just before MWC kicks off.

Price-wise, it’s going to be expensive whenever it arrives on shores – at least for higher-end variant whereas a basic version might be fairly budget-friendly (not really!).

Samsung Galaxy S10 Price is most likely to be somewhere in between the range of 799 Pounds ($1009) for 512GB variant and 999 Pounds ($1262).

Samsung Galaxy S10 Range

  • Samsung Galaxy S10 (A Standard Samsung Flagship)
  • Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus (Massive Screen and Quality-Oriented Camera)
  • Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite (Smaller, Cheaper and Less Powerful)

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus Price is expected in between 899 Pounds ($1136) for 512GB and 1TB will set users back 1399 Pounds ($1767). And Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite Price will be 669 Pounds ($845) for 128GB.

Expected Changes

  • Based on several online sources, Samsung is planning to launch 4 different variants of Samsung Galaxy 10 Phone at 5.8”, 6.4”, 6.1” and 6.7” sizes. The budget-friendly variant would be loaded with a flat-screen whereas the largest and most expensive may be equipped with 5G and carry a total of six cameras.
  • It’s safe to expect an Ultrasonic on-screen fingerprint scanner and it’ll let users unlock their device in a jiffy by just placing their finger on a screen.
  • Samsung has teased that Samsung Galaxy S10 Mobile Phone will have a markedly different design as compared to S9 and S9 Plus and according to rumors, we are going to see a bezel-free Infinity-O display with a small cutout in a panel for sporting a front-facing camera.
  • The rear may feature as many as 4 camera lenses – that’s what a report from Wall Street Journal indicates. However, other reports have claimed that it’ll offer 3 rear cameras – very much like Huawei P20 Pro.
  • The handset is expected to split power between Exynos 9820 Silicon for so many countries and Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Chipset exclusively for North American models.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Design

Will Samsung Galaxy S10 Design deviate from Galaxy S9? Obviously, Yes! We are now going to see some interesting changes that will indeed entice so many of us. The bezels around the screen are minimized – almost disappeared. Importantly, a small cutout is available for a camera or speaker at the top right corner of the screen.

Well, reports vary in terms of the screen size of Galaxy S10 – it all comes down to a number of models. Well-experienced “Evan Blass” has thrown his lot in on S10 screen size debate, saying that Samsung has been manufacturing 3 different models of S10. The first model will be named S10 Lite with 5.8-inches screen and the middle model “S10” will have a 6.1-inches screen. This 3rd and last model Galaxy S10 Plus will sport a 6.4-inches display.

TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has claimed that we will only see 5.8-inches display, 6.1-inches display and a 6.4-inches display. These 2 models with 6.1-inches and 6.4-inches will be backed by an on-screen fingerprint scanner. Obviously, every model will ship with Super AMOLED based screens.

The CEO of Samsung Mr. DJ Koh has reported that Galaxy S10 lineup will comprise radical changes – however, he didn’t go into detail outside of saying the handset will arrive in an amazing array of color options. Amazing? Furthermore, Samsung may use ceramic for a rear panel on a black and white Galaxy S10 – that’s what SamMobile has claimed.

Indeed, Galaxy S9 and S8 both devices were a great leap. Now, what about Galaxy S10? According to rumors, S10 and S10 Plus will have 3 rear camera sensors outback whereas S10 Plus will have 2 front-facing sensors. Talking about S10 Lite, it’s expected to come with 2 rear and a single front-facing sensor for selfies and videos.

The main sensor will be 12MP (same as Galaxy S9) – predicted by SamMobile, joined by a 16MP wide-angle lens without Optical Image Stabilization and Auto-focus. The 3rd sensor appears to be one we have already seen on S9 Plus – 1 13MP which is backed by a 2x Telephoto Zoom. If a rumor turns out to be true, S9 Plus’ dual-lens camera will be returned on S10 Plus with an extra 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Specifications

Quite a couple of months back, CEO of Samsung DJ Koh said that we are working with carriers to roll out a 5G smartphone by March 2019 in few locations. He didn’t provide many details, Bloomberg is reporting a 5G supported S10 may be a Verizon exclusive. Wall Street Journal back in November 2018 reported that Samsung would initially release its 5G supported smartphone in South Korea and the United States.

As far as Galaxy S10 Specs are concerned, it’ll feature a new iteration of Qualcomm’s mobile chipset – maybe Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 for North America and for the rest of the world, it is likely Samsung will use its Exynos 9820 Chipset for Galaxy S10. According to Samsung, a new Chipset will provide a 20% extra performance over S9 and S9 Plus and will be 40% more efficient.

Based on a report from an authentic source, Exynos 9820 Chipset has a dedicated Neural Processing Unit to support artificial intelligence tasks and support Full HD+ videos (8K) at 30fps. As there is a 2.0 Gbps LTE modem on that Exynos 9820 Chipset – there’s no 5G modem – everyone is expecting from Samsung to manufacture a special 5G version of S10 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855.

Ice Universe a bunch of months back provided a lot of details regarding Samsung S10 Specs. The AnTuTu benchmark indicated at least one version of S10 which is backed by a whopping 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage (either it’s expandable or not, we are not sure). Chances are it’ll be a lower-end variant of S10 Plus since Note 9 shipped in 128GB and 512GB versions. That’s it what we know so far about Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus and S10 Lite (if releases).
