Vivo Z1 Price

A Chinese smartphone brand Vivo isn’t yet done in introducing new smartphones like Vivo Nex S – now revealed the latest flagship namely Vivo Z1 and we get Vivo Z1 review for you here. At first glance, Vivo Z1 looks a lot like recently released Vivo V9 with the same glass-like design. The outer is a bit identical – from a dual-camera position, branding placement as well as a fingerprint scanner. Just like Vivo V9, the Vivo Z1 houses a notch display with extremely thin bezels all around – resulting in a 90% screen-to-body ratio.

Not only this, Vivo Z1 also features the same screen size, resolution and the battery as the Vivo V9. Digging down inside, there are numerous changes made. The Vivo Z1 comes with a powerful Snapdragon 660 Chipset coupled with whopping 4GB of RAM – compared to Vivo V9’s Snapdragon 626. Vivo Z1 Price

Sources told FeatureLand, the official Vivo Z1 Price is CNY 1,798 which after conversion comes to around $270 – available in sensational Red, Blue and Black colors.

Vivo Z1 Design

It’s hard to deny that Vivo Z1 is extremely inspired by Apple iPhone X, but if you don’t take into account with outer similarities, believe us Vivo worked well on the design. The complete front panel houses a 6.26-inches display (19:9 aspect ratios) and the screen-to-body ratio is 90%. There’s nothing much on a front, but a front camera, sensors and a speaker were placed at the top of the screen.

The back side is covered by the vertically located dual camera, under it, there is an LED flash. As usual, there is an engraved Vivo logo and above it a fingerprint scanner.

Vivo Z1 Display

The Vivo Z1 is backed by a massive 6.26” IPS screen which is well-supported by a resolution (Full HD+) of 2280 x 1080 pixels at 403 PPI. A Corning Gorilla Glass 3 has covered the top of the display, whereas, in the middle, it’s a cutout like Apple iPhone X (a way smaller).

Talking about the display quality, there is seriously nothing to complaint about. The display is bright and juicy with good viewing angles. It only dims slightly when in direct sunlight.

Vivo Z1 Camera

A camera is one of those departments where Vivo focuses a lot, and interestingly, Vivo Z1 is no exception. Let’s start with the front camera. This is a 24MP sensor (f2.0) which mainly focuses on Panoramic, Beauty and Dynamic Moment. If you don’t use all these functions, still the camera makes great and detailed shots in any lighting.

The rear panel of Vivo Z1 houses a dual 13MP + 2MP sensors. In the base of the camera, several modes are sitting i.e. Autofocus, PDAF, Beauty, and Panorama.

Just like its display, there are no complaints to the front and rear cameras. With the good and bad lighting, the images are quite good.

Vivo Z1 Performance

The brain behind Vivo Z1 is Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor (same chipset inside Vivo X21 and X21 UD).  The Chipset 660 has 8-Cores Kryo 260 cores with a clock frequency of 2.2 GHz and Adreno 512 manages a graphical department.

The Vivo Z1 comes with a whopping 4GB of RAM which ensures flawless and seamless performance. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 and 4GB of RAM together give the users a lag-free experience whether you play graphics-intensive games or work on multiple apps at once.

Vivo Z1 Storage and OS

The Vivo Z1 gives users a massive 64GB of onboard memory to store their all kind of stuff with ease. But if you are looking for more, you’re in luck. The Vivo Z1 enables users to upgrade its onboard memory further up to 256GB via microSD card. Hence, you can save an ample amount of videos, audios, movies, and images.

As far as its software department is concerned, Vivo Z1 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system – planned to upgrade to Android P 9.0.

Vivo Z1 Battery Life

The Vivo Z1 smartphone is loaded with a non-removable battery with a capacity of 3260mAh. The battery, according to the modern standards, has a little capacity but delivers an impressive performance. Even with a heavy usage, it keeps you up all day long. When watching videos or playing games at medium brightness, it lasts 12 hours and 4.5 hours on heavy games. However, moderate users will enjoy a freedom for a day and a half.

Our Verdict

The Vivo Z1 is here making a dent in the market combined with a flagship device of similar specs and offerings. The on-paper specs, however, won’t make your jaw drop, but it’s an exquisite and real-world performance which might entice you to go for it. Captured images are quite decent based on its price range, though, we’ve seen better images clicked by recently released Honor 8 Pro. The display is the key point of the phone offering immersive gaming and multimedia experience.
